0 sheets of US Letter, 8 cards each. Set your printer to 100% scale (not “fit to page”).
Running the hat draw
- Cut along the dashed lines and fold each card twice so the name doesn't show through.
- Agree on the budget, gift day, and the couples rule before the hat goes round.
- Everyone draws in turn and reads their card privately.
- Drew yourself? Say so before the next person draws, put it back and draw again.
- Keep your card somewhere safe. A wallet is better than the fridge door.

Questions people ask
How do I print Secret Santa name cards?
Type one name per line (or switch on Blank cards), pick A4 or US Letter, and press Print. Set your printer to 100% scale so the cut lines land where they should. Each sheet holds eight cards.
What's the fairest way to draw names from a hat?
Use identical slips folded twice, agree the rules first, and let each person draw in turn and read privately. If someone draws their own name, they put it back and draw again before the next person goes.
We drew names in person. Can we still use an app afterwards?
Yes. In Snowglobe Village, turn on "Names were drawn in person" and each person privately tells the village who they drew. Wishlists, hints, letters and Gift Day work the same.
